Site updates

31st December 2012

Hello all, My site hosting subscription is now overdue. I no longer play AA so I do not intend to renew the subscription this year. I know a lot of you still use this site and I am sorry I cannot keep it going. There is the option to donate some cash via paypal if you want to keep the site up - the costs are around 60euro for a year. If a few people got together to share some of the costs, I could add a small amount of cash also to keep it up. Otherwise, I expect the site will be taken down by the host within a week or two. All the best.

Ficer Formulae

At the request of a couple of players, I have created a page that is updated by a couple of players that reveals where some of the common formulae are contained for any reboot. It's mainly geared towards those who don't have a lot of time to go researching in tons of libraries and who just want to get the formula and start playing. Any comments or suggestions? Michigan Weather

According to traceroute anguish.org resides in Benton Harbor, Michigan. I've added a link to the menu above to the Wunderground Weather summary for Benton Harbor. If you're planning on stocking up at the start of a reboot then i'd advise to check out the weather forecast. If thunderstorms are partly to blame for the recent splat of outages / crashes then at least you can get some advance warning now. Latest weather ::

www.aafordummies.com may expire this year so another domain name has been setup. The Dummies™ company apparently didn't like me using aafordummies.com thinking that I was making money outta it or something! Anyways, it might still stick around but there are now two domains that will direct you to this site. aafordummies.net has now been setup and is live. You can use either address to find this site. Request for shield information

I'm compiling a list of the current shields in the game. If you have come across shields installed in the game in the last couple of years, can you please send me the name of the shield and where you got it from. I have about 28 different shields in my list but they are mostly from old areas. As soon as I have gathered a list of the newer shields I will publish it here. Updates to the Artificer Guide

The Smither's Artficer Guide has been updated. There is now an excellent Tips & Tricks guide to help make your ficer experience much easier. An Advanced Playing guide has also been added to the site. THIS, I am sure, will catapult players from being average to well above average a player. It explains about the different types of ficer (spellcraft / smithcraft), weapon strategies and how to build a construct in an obscenely small amount of time. Lots more in the link below. Graphical Map of Anguish

I posted about this before but someone mentioned that it had vanished off the main page, so here it is again. The Continent of Anguish has been mapped out in full colour graphical. Many thanks to Macl who actually drew the map but I'm hosting it for him here. If anyone is skilled in graphics and would like to help me map out Infidian in a similar way (based on Methos/Levek's text map) please let me know.

With everything from a bank to a post office to food stalls and a pub, you can now do all your gaming on Infidian without the need to visit Anguish. 2 new libraries which are of interest to Artificers also.
